Stepmom's Boundaries Card Deck

NEW TOOL FOR STEPMOMS: STEPMOM BOUNDARIES CARD DECK! FOR STEPMOMS WHO WANT MORE PEACE: STEPMOM BOUNDARIES CARD DECK – WITH 52 BOUNDARY-SETTING CARDS, THIS DECK IS A MUST-HAVE FOR ANY STEPMOM WHO WANTS TO CREATE MORE PEACE IN HER LIFE.

Boundaries make us less tense, happier and more secure.

They’re also one of the few things about stepfamily life we can control.

The Stepmom’s Book of Boundaries companion card deck—created by a stepmom for stepmoms and their families—makes it fun and easy to reach higher ground and take control over how your white picket fence dream plays out.

Some cards focus on you, others focus on partnership. Others still suggest ways you can get your (step-)children involved.

No matter what, your goal is to: Consider, talk about and set limits that’ll work well in your home.

Just like The Stepmom’s Book of Boundaries itself, each of the (52) cards in Claudette Chenevert’s artfully-designed deck plays a role in helping you set limits which you, your partner and the kids will benefit from. The best way to approach it? Keep an open mind, playfully exploring your views on all aspects of stepfamily life!

Multiple ways to play give you ample opportunity to learn and practice skills which will benefit you always. Yet, why bother?

Let’s ask Claudette: “Whenever a ‘situation’ arose, Bernard and I would have a couple’s meeting and take that time to talk about what the real issue was. What we fought or disagreed over always came back to a need for boundaries—clearly defined boundaries. So, one day, we wrote them out.”

They then sealed that list with a kiss and signed it, agreeing to help one another live their best lives.

Thus, the card deck was born! Each card touches on a different topic, helping you launch a discussion with yourself, your partner and/or the kids. There are (52) cards total: one for each week of the year.

But use them anytime to start a conversation or independently reflect on issues you’re tired of rehashing without resolving.

THE CHILD PROPHET LOVING KINDNESSES ICONIC DECK

IS YOUR INNER CHILD TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING

Welcome to this very special intuitive deck of LOVINGKINDNESSES — companion to the award-winning illustrated book, THE CHILD PROPHET — and to the experiences and truths, this tool reveals.

The iconic symbols and energies from spirit and science come through love and serve listening to Source and your intuition. They are a holistic means with which to illuminate your inner voice. Each symbol is rooted in time and space, so each has a powerful vibration familiar to your spiritual essence, and each is easy to wield.

While this deck contains many symbols, the title word LOVINGKINDNESSES is also rich meaning: affection, mercy, reverence, grace, and behavior that expresses love. In Buddhism, it signifies unconditional benevolence to all beings.

LOVINGKINDNESSES has 16 letters. The number 16 symbolizes introspection, wholeness, and completion; it is double purity, kindness, and luck. The esoteric meaning of 16 is that new knowledge is acquired, and there will be opportunities to use it. Sixteen is also the symbol of love and loving in the Bible, and it is the “duality of true love.” In numerology, 1+6=7 and seven convey the responsibility to listen to your inner voice.

There are 67 symbol cards in the deck. 67 is a magical number meaning that your angels are near and ready to help you realize your higher purpose in this earthly life experience.

About the LOVINGKINDNESSES cards and how to use them:

Your intuition is the key to using this deck. First, have a clear intention. Shuffle. Then draw and lay out the cards and interpret them and the message each offers. The symbol on each card is ancient and full of energy and meaning that transcends. Each is innate and speaks on a deeper level with the soul. Each came from Source through meditation and journeying. And messages from Sources come with each symbol to help translate them.

There are four faces on each card:
1) in gold - the symbol, with the name of the card and a few keywords
2) in rose - a deeper derivation of the symbol, a direct message from the inner child – Source
3) in silver - the divination
4/ in blue - related actions you can take

TRANSFORMATIONAL INTENTIONS FOR PREGNANCY, BIRTH & BEYOND

The 42 cards in this deck were created to be used during the year of a pregnancy and birth. They have been designed as a thought-provoking tool to enhance your wellness during pregnancy and birth as well as the relationship with your baby.
It is suggested that they be used on a weekly (or more frequent) basis. Shuffling the deck and then choosing a card at random will provide a message for you to reflect on during the period of time until your next session with the cards.
The unique Seed or Flower of Life design on each card and coloring page is an original meditative drawing. These designs have been paired with inspired words and affirmations that include your baby in the intention. Click on the “Bonus Content” button for the card to get a PDF file (or take a screenshot of the coloring face) and print it out so that you can do a coloring meditation at your leisure. Use the Deckible app to journal your thoughts as you go through this process. It is hoped that meditating on these messages will strengthen the bond with your baby and provide a lifetime of connection.
Although the physical deck can stand alone, it was designed to be used as a companion piece with the “Conceived in Love Coloring Meditation Journal”. Both the physical card deck and companion journal can be purchased through the accompanying link. To use the cards and book together, first pick a card at random. Then find the corresponding coloring and journal meditation in the book. Spend a little time each day coloring the design while reflecting on the word and journaling prompt. Jot down any thoughts on the accompanying journal page. Once filled with your colored designs and thoughts about your journey, this book will become a treasured keepsake that you can share with your baby and family for years to come!

Together Equal - Conversation Cards for Kids

CHANGING THE WORLD, ONE CONVERSATION AT A TIME.

We've developed a set of conversation cards which are designed to get kids away from their devices and talking to each other, their families and their friends. The questions are designed to challenge social norms, bring down unconscious bias and tear down the invisible barriers of societal expectations. These products are for parents who want to find different ways to engage with their kids, and start thoughtful conversations about equality.

The questions on our conversation cards are focused on resetting social values. This is our opportunity to rewrite the narrative, build a new base with no unconscious bias, and create a world where kids are kids and their potential has no invisible boundaries.

With 52 different questions such as:

If a man and a woman do the same job should they be paid the same?

What makes a person clever?

These conversation cards help kids develop key soft skills including debate, discussion and persuasion, whilst giving parents new ways to engage their family.

Together Equal is a profit with purpose social enterprise running programmes aimed at giving all children and young adults an equal start in life. Our mission is to promote equality for everyone. We believe this can be achieved by owning the conversation at every level.

To fund our activities we created Conversation Cards for families with kids age 7+ to encourage conversation and debate about equality. We sell these directly to raise money to subsidise our school work, but we work with a number of charities who sell them directly keeping all the profits raised to enable them to continue supporting victims of domestic abuse.

All About Core

THESE DOUBLE-SIDED BRIGHTLY COLORED FLASHCARDS CAN BE USED FOR A VARIETY OF COMMUNICATION, LANGUAGE, AND LITERACY ACTIVITIES.

Do you want to target and teach core words with your student and/or child with complex communication needs? These double-sided brightly colored flashcards can be used for a variety of communication, language, and literacy activities.

Here are some ideas to get started!
1. Work on print awareness and phonemic awareness by modeling the letter on the card and then sounding it out. Using the visual cue will help students connect the letter and word with the corresponding picture. For example, when choosing the card “jump,” emphasize the “J” and point to the letter at the same time.
2. Ask your student to think of another word that starts with the target letter. For example, if you are doing "L" for "like", ask your student to tell you another word that starts with L. For students with communication systems, have them find another word that begins with that letter on their talker.
3. Answer “wh” questions. For example, for the word "play", "What do you like to play?"
4. Start a discussion about one word. For example, the word "need". What are the things that you need? You can model "e.g., bathroom, shower, food, drink, etc."
5. Target decoding and reading fluency by reading the sentence on the back of the card.
6. Work on communication by practicing the word in a sentence on the child's talker. For example, for the word "swim", I can create the sentence..."I swim in a pool." A child may also want to practice creating the same sentence on the card with their talker and/or voice. Make this more challenging by using two cards to make one sentence.
7. Target the lower and upper case of each letter of the alphabet. All the cards have both the upper and lower case of each letter.
8. Use gestural cues with the cards. For example, for the word "swim", move your arms to show "swimming".
9. Model core vocabulary in conjunction with the cards and the child's talker and/or verbalizations.
10. Play a game by calling out a letter sound and your student/child must find the correct card with the same sound.

Finally, use the cards as a companion to my book, All About Core, An Alphabet Book for Emerging Readers.

All About Feelings

THESE DOUBLE-SIDED BRIGHTLY COLORED FLASHCARDS CAN BE USED DURING A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES TO TARGET RECEPTIVE, EXPRESSIVE, AND SOCIAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

Do you want to work on improving communication, literacy, and social emotional skills with your student and/or child with complex communication needs? These double-sided brightly colored flashcards can be used during a variety of activities to target receptive, expressive, and social communication skills.

Here are some ideas to get started:
1. Work on print awareness and phonemic awareness by modeling the letter on the card and then sounding it out. With the visual cue, it will help students connect the letter and word with the corresponding picture.
2. Ask your student to think of another word that starts with the target letter. For example, if you are doing "W" for "wet", ask your student to tell you another word that starts with W.
3. Answer “wh” questions. For example, for the word "tired", "Where do you sleep when you are tired?"
4. Work on synonyms and antonyms. What is the opposite of hungry?
5. Target decoding and reading fluency by reading the sentence on the back of the card.
6. Work on communication by modeling the word in a sentence on the child's talker. For example, for the word "quiet", I can create the sentence..."The library is quiet."
7. Target upper- and lower-case letters of the alphabet. On each card, there is the upper case and lower case of the target letter.
8. Improve vocabulary by defining the word. For example, what does the word "busy" mean? Use the target word during natural interactions so it can be easily understood.
9. Improving overall emotions. Talk about how your student/child feels. Model the vocabulary. For example, during snack time, model the word "hungry" on the card and the talker (if applicable). Implement this strategy for both positive and negative emotions.
10. Play a game by calling out a letter sound and your student/child must find the correct card with the same sound.

Finally, use the cards as a companion to my book, All About Feelings, an Alphabet Book for Emerging Readers.
