The Bird Oracle Deck was created during the intentional practice of "Counting of the Omer". “Counting the Omer”, is a practice with ancient roots and contemporary adaptations. It involves a ritual counting which spans 49 days, mirroring the time of wandering in the dessert after liberation from slavery in Egypt, until receiving the revelations at Mt. Sinai. I have adopted the intentional practice of connecting the “Counting of the Omer” to the seven principles of the Divine in Creation according to Kabbalah, which are known as the “Sefirot”.
Focusing on the attributes of the Sefirot can be a daily meditation and intention. This is one way you can use this deck, set aside 49 days and use the Bird guidance for an intentional practice.
