guilt & shame
A SELF-HEALING DECK TO SUPPORT WITH ADDRESSING FEELINGS AND BELIEFS CONNECTED TO GUILT AND SHAME
i am so grateful to share this tool with you in this part of your self-healing journey. this deck was created to support examining the imprints that guilt and shame leave on the body and mind through introspection.
if we realize we are not separate individuals we can choose to mend. we consciously and unconsciously project and protect ourselves from guilt and shame each day. shame and guilt remind us that we are alone, that no one can understand us - when the opposite is true.
guilt may be feelings of what you should do because of what you did. shame may be a deep rooted feeling of inadequacy because you are not being who you believe you are or should be. this deck is here to help you get curious and look into what each definition means to you...
when you take time to tend to your guilt and shame, you are taking small, steady steps to spend time with the person that you are inside of your soul - inside of the space that only you can travel in and out of with complete transparency.
from meditating and journaling in response to the paintings, prompts, and poems in this collection, i have realized and become intimate with my own guilt and shame so that i might have more compassion for my-selves and my relatives. this deck supported me in releasing thoughts and habits that were not nourishing for myself or anyone involved. may this deck support you in becoming more intimate with yourself.
