For Liz, her cancer diagnosis in 2020 ignited a whole new path. Words alone were not what she was looking for to share and explain the cancer experience to her family and friends. She wanted others to see and feel how cancer was for her. She began creating and writing in a new realm. Creativity and visualizations became the core of these paintings, which she used to help heal herself. Her work authentically connects with her audience, sharing what makes us vulnerable and human.
